Riyadh Chamber of Commerce & Industry, in cooperation with the Moscow Chamber of Commerce & Industry, the Russian Food House in Dubai and the Incona company, recently hosted a virtual conference “Opportunities for Russian – Saudi business cooperation in food and e-commerce sectors”, which explored new opportunities of export and import in the Russia–Saudi Arabia food trade.
Featuring over 80 participants from several countries, the webinar examined high-potential bilateral trade and investment opportunities across food and e-commerce sectors. Speakers included Naif Abdullah Al Rajhi, Vice Chairman of Riyadh Chamber; Suren Vardanyan, Vice-president of Moscow CCI; Mohammed Alomar, Vice-president of E-commerce Committee at Riyadh Chamber; Alexei Busev, General Director of Incona, and others.
Representative of Moscow Chamber of Commerce & Industry in the GCC countries and General Director of Incona Alexei Busev reported on the opportunities provided by the Russian Food House in Dubai for establishing direct contacts with the major food producers from Russia. He stressed that the Russian Food House is an entry point for Russian companies planning to enter the food market of Saudi Arabia and the Gulf countries. The event concluded with a Q&A session.
