INCONA summed up the results of the open webinar «Opportunities for Russian developers of games, software and media content in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi»

How to get a state subsidy in the IT sector and become part of the global media industry – this and more was discussed by leading experts from Russia and the UAE during an open webinar that took place on October 8, 2020. The event was organized by the Moscow Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the twofour54 Abu Dhabi Free Economic Zone with the support of Incona.

The key topic of the webinar was the discussion of new opportunities for Russian IT and media companies to enter the Emirati market. In particular, experts from the UAE drew attention to the advantages that the twofour54 Abu Dhabi frison provides to its residents. Among them: benefits for office rent, subsidies for hiring employees and the opportunity to cooperate with the largest technology companies in the world. 

Alexey Busev, Chairman of the MCCI Commission for Foreign Economic Cooperation with Partners in the UAE and CEO of INCONA, talked about the importance of knowing the national peculiarities of business culture in Arab countries. He spoke in detail about the challenges that Russian companies face when entering the markets of the GCC countries, and presented to the participants of the meeting examples of successful work of IT companies from Russia in the Emirati market.
