Sharjah Business Week in Russia: Meeting with the St. Petersburg Chamber of Commerce and Industry

On September 10, St. Petersburg hosted a meeting of the leadership of the St. Petersburg Chamber of Commerce and Industry with a delegation of the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The parties discussed topical issues of cooperation between St. Petersburg and the Emirate of Sharjah in the field of tourism and exhibition activities.

Representatives of the emirate recalled the holding of the Expo 2020 exhibition in Dubai and invited Russian colleagues to become organizers of the St. Petersburg stand at the «Watch and Jewellery Middle East Show» in April 2022, as well as to participate in the organization of the visit of representatives of St. Petersburg to the UAE.

Vladimir Katenev, President of the St. Petersburg Chamber of Commerce and Industry, thanked the Emirati delegation for the visit and recalled that the parties had previously signed a cooperation agreement, which is now being actively supported by concrete actions. At the end of the meeting, representatives of the emirate introduced partners from Russia to the economic potential, structure and export volumes of Sharjah.
