The XVI International Economic Forum «Russia – the Islamic World: Kazan Forum 2023» has recently ended in Kazan

The XVI International Economic Forum «Russia – the Islamic World: Kazan Forum 2023» has recently ended in Kazan. This year, 16 223 people from 85 countries and 84 regions of the Russian Federation took part in the forum. More than 150 different events were held, including strategic sessions, conferences and round tables.

One of the guest countries at the Kazan Forum 2023 were the United Arab Emirates, delegation of which at the forum included the UAE Minister of State for Foreign Trade, His Excellency Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi.

Within the scope of the event, there were organized Russia Halal Expo exhibition with a wide selection of halal products and the exhibition of investment and infrastructure projects.

Yandex introduced its unmanned vehicle — at the moment, 12 such cars have been released, some of them drive as taxis in Innopolis. The first sample of the «Atom» electric car of the «Kama» company was also demonstrated for the first time. Its mass production is planned to begin in 2025.

The Modest Fashion Day festival was also held at the forum. In addition, a separate stand dedicated to female entrepreneurship was prepared, on the site of which sessions were held with invited leading women-entrepreneurs.
