22.09.2025

From September 16 to 18, a large-scale business mission took place in Moscow, bringing together representatives of leading IT and high-tech companies from Oman and the Moscow Export Center. The event was organized by Incona. The foreign delegation included not only representatives of Omani technology companies but also officials from relevant government agencies.

The business program began at the Moscow Government’s Situation Center, where delegation members met with representatives of public authorities and the city’s business community. During the meeting, the parties discussed key areas for potential cooperation, exchanged views on the prospects for joint projects, and identified points of mutual interest.

On the very first day of the visit, the Omani delegation traveled to the Skolkovo Innovation Center. There, guests had the opportunity to explore the latest developments by Russian companies and assess the scale and advancement of the country’s high-tech sector. In addition, targeted meetings were held with Russian companies, allowing participants to discuss specific projects and possible formats of collaboration in detail.

The second day of the business mission was fully dedicated to B2B meetings. Representatives of Omani companies conducted a series of negotiations with Russian technology enterprises as part of a rich and intensive program. This format enabled more focused dialogue and helped address practical aspects of potential cooperation.

The final day of the mission, September 18, was equally eventful. The delegation took part in the BRICS Cities of the Future Forum, held in the main hall of the Zaryadye Concert Complex. In addition to plenary sessions and thematic discussions, meetings with Russian companies also took place on the sidelines of the event. In the evening, during the business session “From Moscow to the Middle East: A Cloudless Partnership,” speeches were delivered by Osman Maktoum Ali Muslem Al Manhari, Co-founder and CEO of Innotech, and Al-Musawi Maysam Hani Kadid, Deputy CEO of Madayn.

Aleksei Busev, General Director of Incona, highlighted Oman’s special role as a promising partner:

“Oman is one of the most fascinating and distinctive countries in the GCC region. Behind the traditional image of Muscat stands a modern, high-tech nation actively developing innovation as part of its economic diversification strategy. Oman demonstrates particularly strong potential in areas such as IT and renewable energy. The visit of the Omani business delegation to Russia and their introduction to the achievements of the domestic high-tech sector mark an important step toward deepening scientific and technological cooperation and creating new opportunities for joint projects.”
