Russia increased its agricultural exports to the Middle East by 75% in 2022

The Minister of Agriculture of the Russian Federation Dmitry Patrushev spoke at the opening of the international agro-industrial exhibition Saudi Agriculture 2022 in Saudi Arabia.

According to Dmitry Patrushev, «The Middle East and North African markets have long been of interest to exporters from the Russian Federation. Therefore, we are making every effort to ensure that our friends from these countries can also try high-quality Russian products. In the first nine months, the volume of agricultural supplies to the Middle East market increased by 75 percent. And to Saudi Arabia by 50 percent.»

The Head of the Ministry of Agriculture also noted that this year’s Russian pavilion is the largest in the last 40 years. Dozens of companies from Russia brought their goods to the exhibition: grain, meat, confectionery and other products, and also presented unique agricultural technologies.
