28.09.2022

According to the new decree of the Russian government signed by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, the Russian Export Center will promote the goods of exporters of the Russian agro-industrial complex at foreign sites free of charge.

«Russian exporters who will place their agricultural products in the demonstration and tasting pavilions of agricultural products abroad will have the opportunity to promote their products free of charge in large retail chains, hypermarkets and online stores. In addition, it will be possible to arrange delivery of product samples for tastings in showrooms and shops at the expense of state support,» — the REC said in the statement.

This service will be provided to Russian agricultural exporters in the UAE, China, Egypt and Vietnam, where showrooms of domestic agro-industrial products have already been opened, as well as in Saudi Arabia and Turkey, where such pavilions are scheduled to open by the end of this year.

Veronika Nikishina, General Director of the REC, noted that now showrooms with Russian agricultural products will be supported directly by the REC, which will promote goods and adapt them to the requirements of local markets. «In addition, according to numerous requests from companies, we were able to finance the costs of delivering trial batches of products to the pavilions. Moreover, both large companies and individual entrepreneurs will be able to use these services,» Veronika Nikishina said in a statement.

In addition, exporters of Russian agricultural products will now be able to submit applications for the promotion of their goods entirely electronically on the My Export platform, thanks to which the deadline for signing the application will be reduced from 29 to 7 days.
