On February 18, 2019, the opening ceremony of the Russian Food House took place in Dubai. INCONA acts as an operator of the Pavilion, created in order to promote the products of domestic manufacturers in the UAE and the Gulf countries. The initiator of its creation is the Russian Export Center. The opening of the Pavilion is wonderful news for representatives of Russian business planning to register a company in the UAE.

In addition to INCONA CEO Alexey Busev, the opening ceremony of the Pavilion was attended by Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the Russian Federation Sergey Levin, Senior Vice President of the Russian Export Center Igor Zhuk, Consul General of the Russian Federation in Dubai and the Northern Emirates Oleg Fomin, as well as representatives of the UAE government and leading Russian and Emirati companies in the food sector.

Alexey Busev in his speech spoke about the details of the upcoming activities of the Pavilion. According to him, in order to promote the products of domestic manufacturers, regular presentations and meetings with Emirati trading companies are planned in the Pavilion. In addition, the Pavilion will take over the functions of a contact and information center for Russian manufacturers in the UAE and the Gulf countries. The Pavilion’s plans also include constant replenishment of the range of products on display and active participation in events and exhibitions dedicated to food products in the Emirates.

Already on the opening day of the Pavilion, representatives of Russian food companies had the opportunity to present their products to Emirati distributors and retailers and negotiate with them about potential supplies. It is expected that the Pavilion’s activities will stimulate activity related to the registration of companies in the UAE by Russian entrepreneurs.

Currently, the Pavilion operates in a working mode and offers its visitors a wide range of goods from the Russian Federation: groceries, sunflower oil, juices and water, cereals, spices, confectionery, coffee, baking mixes, baby food, organic products, etc.
