INCONA summed up the results of the open webinar «Russia – Bahrain. Food trade after the end of the pandemic»

How to establish cooperation with distributors from Bahrain and become part of the largest food market in the Middle East – this and more was discussed by leading experts from Russia and the Kingdom of Bahrain during an open webinar that took place on May 31, 2021. The event was organized by the State Export Administration of the Kingdom of Bahrain, the Moscow Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Incona with the support of the Russian Food House in the UAE.

The key topic of the webinar was the discussion of new opportunities for Russian food producers to enter the market of Bahrain and the Persian Gulf countries. During the meeting, representatives of the Bahraini side noted that the governments and businessmen of all countries, including the Kingdom of Bahrain, are making every effort to restore «doc-like» cooperation. «Bahrain is trying to diversify its economy, developing exports and imports of many products and services,» said Safa Abdulkhalik, Acting head of the Bahrain State Export Administration. – Our market is open for international trade, we provide companies with comprehensive support. We hope that 2021 will be a favorable year for business. Russia is one of the key areas of cooperation for us.»

Russian Food House’s role in promoting Russian companies in the MENA region was discussed by Alexey Busev, representative of the Moscow Chamber of Commerce and Industry in the Arab countries of the Gulf, Director of the Russian Food House in Dubai and CEO of Incona. He noted that the Russian Food House helps to establish relations with companies from Bahrain, Saudi Arabia and other Gulf countries. «Come and we will be happy to show you our showroom: all the products presented in the Pavilion can be viewed and tasted,» Alexey added.
