INCONA summed up the results of the open webinar «Russia – Kuwait. Food trade after the end of the COVID-19 pandemic»

On September 21, 2020, the leaders of the food markets of Russia and the Gulf countries took part in the open webinar «Russia – Kuwait. Food trade after the end of the COVID-19 pandemic.» The event was organized by the Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Moscow and Kuwait with the support of the Russian Food House in the UAE.

The key topic of the webinar was the identification of new opportunities for the development and strengthening of economic ties between the countries. The speakers discussed the prospects of Russian food exports to Kuwait, highlighted the legal aspects of export activities, and also touched upon issues related to the provision of financial support measures to suppliers of products of the Russian agro-industrial complex to Kuwait.

In particular, Alexey Busev, representative of the Moscow Chamber of Commerce and Industry in the Arab countries of the Gulf and CEO of INCONA, spoke about the opportunities of Russian manufacturers in the GCC countries. He noted that one of the most effective tools of interaction between Russian and Kuwaiti companies can be the Russian Food House in the UAE, whose main goal is to promote domestic food products in the Middle East.
