Participation of Eugene Golotsan in the panel session on the promotion of agricultural exports abroad

On October 21, within the framework of the International Export Forum 2022, organized by the Russian Export Center, a panel session «Promoting the export of agro-industrial complex abroad in new conditions. Russian pavilions».

The discussion revolved around questions about ways to promote Russian agricultural products to foreign markets, including through the mechanism of existing demonstration and tasting pavilions of products in foreign countries.

This session was aimed at identifying further directions for the development of the system and infrastructure for promoting agricultural products abroad, improving the efficiency of currently available pavilions and recognition of Russian brands of agricultural products, as well as the GoodFoodRussia framework brand and, ultimately, increasing exports of Russian agricultural products to promising markets.

Eugene Golotsan, Deputy General Director of INCONA, was invited as a speaker at the panel session. Eugene spoke about the specifics of promoting the products of the Russian agro-industrial complex to the Middle East market and considered such issues as:

• GCC countries’ food market opportunities for Russian producers and exporters;
• channels for promoting Russian products in the UAE and GCC countries;
• services of the Russian food pavilion in the UAE;
• the algorithm for entering the UAE market for Russian companies in the food sector.

The discussion was also attended by Alexey Solodov, Vice-President of JSC «Russian Export Center», Director for the development of the foreign network of JSC «Russian Export Center» Dmitry Prokhorenko and other experts in the field of export and promotion of agro-industrial products from Russia abroad.
