The CEO of INCONA took part in the meeting of the leadership of the Moscow Chamber of Commerce and the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce

On September 4, 2019, the Moscow Chamber of Commerce and Industry hosted a meeting between the President of the Moscow Chamber of Commerce and Industry Vladimir Platonov and the Chairman of the Moscow Chamber of Commerce Commission for Cooperation with the UAE Alexey Busev with a delegation of the Chamber of Commerce of the Emirate of Sharjah (UAE).

The Emirati side was represented at the meeting: Chairman of the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce Abdullah Sultan Al Owais, First Vice-Chairman of the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce Sheikh Majid Faisal Al Qasemi, Adviser on Cooperation with CIS Countries of the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce Jassim Al Mutawa, Director of the Communications Department of the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce Jamal Saeed Buzanjal and Head of the Development of National Industry of the Sharjah Export Center Lamia Al Jasmi.

In his speech, Alexey Busev, CEO of INCONA, Chairman of the Commission for Cooperation with the UAE of the Moscow Chamber of Commerce and Industry, recalled the history of the development of business relations between our country and the Emirate of Sharjah, dating back to the late 80s of the last century. According to him, there is currently a peak in the development of business relations between Moscow and Sharjah. Alexey Busev expressed confidence that bilateral business cooperation will continue to develop actively, as it is of considerable interest to chambers of commerce and industry and their member companies.

Vladimir Platonov expressed hope for further fruitful cooperation with the Emirate of Sharjah. He noted the mutual benefits of Russian-Emirati contacts and pointed out the need to identify strategic areas of partnership that are of interest to both Moscow enterprises and Sharjah companies.

Following the meeting, the parties agreed on a return visit of the delegation of the Moscow Chamber of Commerce and Industry to the Chamber of Commerce of the Emirate of Sharjah. In addition, the Chairman of the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Abdullah Sultan Al Owais, expressed interest and readiness to hold an annual event on a regular basis – the Days of the Emirate of Sharjah in Russia.
