Incona took part in the 5th Russian-Emirati intergovernmental committee meeting in Abu Dhabi

The 5th Intergovernmental Russian-Emirate Commission for Trade, Economic and Technical Cooperation was held in Abu Dhabi on November 27. The meeting was chaired by the head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, Denis Manturov and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan. During the event, representatives of the ministries, government agencies and the UAE and Russian businessmen discussed prospects of further expansion of bilateral cooperation.

During his speech, Denis Manturov pointed to positive dynamics of Russian-Emirati cooperation and the significant potential for further development of bilateral trade and economic relations. In this regard, the main task for today is to increase the volume of trade between two countries, expanding the range of products supplied and the deepening of partnerships in the investment sphere.

Denis Manturov spoke about Russia’s interest in the development of the following economy areas: mutual development and production of high-tech products, mutual supply of food products, deepening partnerships in the field of civil defense and security, as well as tourism. In addition, the Minister announced an agreement to establish an intergovernmental working group on cooperation in the field of aerospace.

The participants of the meeting from both government parties noted successful work of INCONA company, implemented through public-private partnerships in order to provide information, counselling and legal support for Russian companies on the UAE market and UAE companies wishing to operate on the Russian market. In addition, INCONA efforts in contributing to the development of investment cooperation between two countries also have received a positive evaluation.
