The Russian Federation and the United Arab Emirates strengthen bilateral cooperation in the field of culture

The United Arab Emirates and Russia continue to work on joint projects in the field of art and culture. This was reported during the 11th meeting of the Intergovernmental Russian-Emirati Commission on Trade, Economic and Technical Cooperation at the meeting of the State Secretary — Deputy Minister of Culture of Russia Alla Manilova with the Deputy Minister of Culture and Youth Affairs of the UAE Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan.

Representatives of the cultural ministries of the two countries noted the high level of development of bilateral cooperation in the field of culture. The parties agreed to continue working on joint projects in the field of art and preservation of cultural heritage. Alla Manilova expressed readiness to resume working on the issue of holding the exhibition of the State Hermitage Museum «Museums and Kings» in Abu Dhabi.

It was also decided that an interdepartmental memorandum on cooperation in the field of culture will be signed in the near future, which will be an important step in further strengthening cooperation.
